3. describe your leaf:
For example:
Species: Quarcus velutina
Common name: Black oak
Description: small, chubby, pointy ends on the lobes. It is about 8 inches long, and about 2 inches wide. It has seven lobes.
Location: Grafton, MA. Touchstone, OSP cottage. A few feet north of the cottage.
4. Use Google Earth (see internet menu on the netbook) to determine your latitude and longitude
